Dr. Scott D. Miller serves as Director of Technology for the Wayne Highlands School District, providing leadership and strategic direction for the technology systems, digital resources, communications infrastructure, and cybersecurity services that support students, faculty, staff, and District operations.
With more than 25 years of experience in technology and educational leadership, Dr. Miller has dedicated his career to connecting technology with education and ensuring that students and educators have access to reliable, secure, and innovative resources.
Leadership Through Technology
As Director of Technology, Dr. Miller oversees the planning, implementation, operation, and continued development of the District's technology environment. His responsibilities encompass areas such as network infrastructure, cybersecurity, information systems, student and staff devices, telecommunications, wireless connectivity, cloud services, digital learning resources, and technical support.
Technology touches nearly every aspect of a modern school district. From the network connecting classrooms and administrative offices to the devices students use each day, Dr. Miller and the Office of Information Technology work behind the scenes to provide technology that is reliable, secure, accessible, and focused on supporting education.

Providing students with individual devices has helped transform technology from something students occasionally use into a resource that can be integrated throughout their educational experience. Timothy Morgan serves as Superintendent of Schools for the Wayne Highlands School District, providing leadership to a school community dedicated to educational excellence, student achievement, innovation, and opportunity. As Superintendent, Mr. Morgan works closely with the Board of Education, administrators, faculty, staff, students, families, and community members to guide the District and ensure that students receive a high-quality educational experience.
Leadership Focused on Students
At the center of Mr. Morgan's leadership is a commitment to the students of Wayne Highlands. From a child's first day of Kindergarten through graduation from Honesdale High School, the District strives to provide an educational environment where students can learn, grow, discover their talents, and prepare for successful futures.
As Superintendent, Mr. Morgan provides leadership across the District's academic programs, operations, student services, technology, facilities, safety initiatives, extracurricular programs, and long-term planning. His role helps bring these different areas together around a common purpose—supporting students and the educators who serve them.

Wayne Highlands School District serves students through Stourbridge Primary School, Lakeside Elementary School, Wayne Highlands Middle School, Honesdale High School, Damascus School, Preston School, and the Wayne Highlands Virtual Campus.
