BOARD MEETING NOTIFICATION

There will be a special meeting of the Board of Directors of the Wayne Highlands School District on Monday, June 29, 2026 at 12:00 PM. This meeting will be held in the District Office Board Room.

If attending, please note that you will be asked to identify yourself so that we may compile a complete list of attendees for meeting minutes.

This meeting will be for general purposes.

WAYNE HIGHLANDS SCHOOL DISTRICT
Proposed Budget Notice

In Accordance with the provisions of Section 687 of the Pennsylvania School Code, the Board of Directors of the Wayne Highlands School District hereby gives notice that it has tentatively adopted for the said District for the 2026-27 school year a proposed budget showing estimated expenditures in the amount of $71,517,413 with revenues in the amount of $71,517,413 with a real estate millage of 13.4907. As per Act 1, a copy of the proposed budget is available for public inspection at the Office of the Secretary, 474 Grove Street, Honesdale, Pennsylvania; at Damascus School, Damascus, Pennsylvania; and at Preston School, Lakewood, Pennsylvania; Monday through Friday, during regular business hours until finally adopted at an advertised special meeting, which will be held on or before June 30, 2026.

WAYNE HIGHLANDS SCHOOL DISTRICT
RESIDENT NOTIFICATION TO ASSESSOR

In accordance with the provisions of Section 680 of the Pennsylvania School Code, the Board of Directors of the Wayne Highlands School District hereby gives public notice that every resident or inhabitant of the Wayne Highlands School District upon attaining eighteen years of age and every person becoming a resident or inhabitant of the Wayne Highlands School District shall, within twelve months after the happening thereof, notify the Chief Assessor, Wayne County Court House, of his becoming a resident or inhabitant. Any person failing within said period to notify the Chief Assessor shall, in addition to the tax levied by the Wayne Highlands School District, be liable to the said School District in a penal sum equal to such tax.
