Honesdale High School has presented major musical productions including Beauty and the Beast, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Grease, Chicago: Teen Edition, The Wizard of Oz, Matilda the Musical, and, most recently, Andrew Lloyd Webber's School of Rock – The Musical in February 2026.

The school's music program also provides students with opportunities in band and vocal music, with Honesdale High School musicians earning recognition through Pennsylvania Music Educators Association festivals and All-State ensembles. In 2026, the District celebrated Honesdale High School students who earned All-State Band and All-State Choir recognition.
