Coaches Basketball

Wayne Highlands School District congratulates Head Coach Joe Reno and the girls' basketball program on their outstanding achievement. The Honesdale Lady Hornets basketball team was selected by this year's basketball officials to receive the 2024-2025 Donald L. Klee Girls' Sportsmanship Award.

Coach Reno capped off a successful season by accepting the award on behalf of the team, which finished with an impressive 18-4 record and advanced to the second round of the 4A District Playoffs. The Lady Hornets’ accomplishments reflect not only their dedication to the sport but also their positive impact on the basketball community.
