Human Resources Foundation

The Human Resources Foundation is offering eight $1,000.00 scholarships to graduating high school seniors in the Susquehanna, Wayne, Pike, and Monroe County School Districts who are entering college for the 2026 academic year.

The student will be planning to pursue a career in Human Services, Health Care, Vocational Career, Social Work, or Special Education. Preference will be given to individuals who are looking to pursue human services, social work, educational, or health/clinical career paths that work directly with individuals with disabilities.

In addition to the online application, a transcript and any relevant test scores are requested.

Bonnie G. Tyrrell Memorial Scholarship

A $500 Scholarship is awarded to a student pursuing a 4-year program for a health care related career.

Students must complete and submit the General Scholarship Application and deliver to Mrs. Davoli.

Wayne Memorial Hospital Auxiliary Nursing Scholarships

The Wayne Memorial Hospital Auxiliary is pleased to announce we are able to again offer scholarships to a graduating senior pursuing a career in nursing and living in the vicinity of Wayne Memorial Hospital.

Applicants must be applying for fall admission to an accredited nursing program and be notified of their acceptance prior to high school graduation. The scholarship money is a one time payment to the student and/or their college/university where the recipient is enrolled.

Criteria for the scholarship recipients are multifaceted and inclued academic achievements, community service, financial needs and personal presentation during interview.
