HHS Honors Seniors at September Board Meeting

Wayne Highlands School District Board of Directors is proud to recognize three outstanding Honesdale High School Seniors at our past September Board Meeting at Damascus School.

Rachel Musetti, daughter of Paul and Michelle Musetti ranks in the top 5% of her class. Rachel plans to become a lawyer and attend school in Tennessee or Washington, DC. ACHIEVEMENTS / AWARDS: • Soccer – Letter-4 year / Defensive Player of the Year / 1st Team All Star / Captain • Travel Soccer (TASS) – 4 years • Student Council – Secretary • Class Secretary – Sophomore • Science Olympiad – 2 state medals • USMC Bridge Building Contest • American Chemical Society Exam (2 years) • WVIA Scholastic Bowl • State Scholastic Scrimmage • American Mathematics Contest • Marywood Math Contest • Math Madness Online Competition • King’s College Math Contest – 2nd place • Mock Trial – Best Advocate Award (2) • GATE • Keystone Girls State • Stage Crew • Interact Club • Honor Roll • National Honor Society.

Jordan Peer, daughter of Dianne Kenyon and Robert Peer ranks in the top 10% of her class. Jordan plans to major in Psychology and become a Developmental Psychologist. ACHIEVEMENTS / AWARDS: • Varsity Track & Field • PJAS – 1st Place - Regionals and 2nd Place - States (2015) • PJAS – Regionals - 2nd Award (2016) • Envirothon and Envirothon - States • Math Madness Online Competition • American Mathematics Competition • WCCF Youth Advisory Committee Member • Chamber Choir • Wayne/Pike County Band • HHS Players - 2015 and 2016 All-School Musicals • Interact Club • Student Council – Member-at-Large • Honor Roll • National Honor Society • Church Youth Group / Choir.

Emily Ritter, daughter of Robert and Tina Ritter ranks in the top 5% of her class. Emily plans to study Biology with a focus on animal behavior.
